Ford Explorer, Toyota Highlander, Chevrolet Traverse and Mazda CX-9 have a new competitor from now on, meet the new Nissan Pathfinder. It will have a lightly revised front and rear end which will offer to the car a more angular look, it wears Nissan's signature ”V-motion” grille and boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights. For all of the models LED headlights come as standard on the trim level made from platinum.
Take a close look at the bumpers, fog lights, mirrors, taillights and wheels for the new 2017 model, Nissan has done a great job on them, right? The company also has promised that the aerodynamic got some improvements too. Even if the overall look doesn't really differ a lot from the previous model, we tend to think it has some new great features that will fix the minus. The cabin inside looks similar to the old model also, and we consider that the manufacturer has put much work on the Pathfinder's connectivity and convenience features. The new center console between the front-seat passengers, features a larger cupholders and extra USB port. The display for driver's information is nestled between the speedometer and tachometer, displaying additional information and entertainment options for the driver.
If we look under its hood we'll find a 3.5 liter V-6. It's been told that the components of the engine are new to the Pathfinder, with a gasoline direct injection system, that bossted power from 260 horsepower to 284 hp. The new model will feature four trim levels when it arrives in dealerships in September: S, SV, leather-lined SL and range-topping Platinum.
